Title I Field Trips
Experiences that lift a young person's STEM confidence
There is no other educational experience like a field trip to The Tech Interactive, and finances should not limit a student's access to our exhibits and hands-on lab experiences.
Fully endowing the Title I Field Trips program would make this educational opportunity possible for 25,000 students every year.
Most low-income schools spend the majority of classroom time on language arts and math, limiting students’ exposure to science, technology and engineering. That makes it hard for these students to develop all of their STEM skills. The Tech Interactive provides opportunities to explore science and engineering in real-world applications, helping students develop 21st century skills like critical thinking and collaboration in an authentic lab environment. Contributions to our field trip fund pay our operating costs so these students are able to visit for free.
